Crisis Theory in Behavioral Health:

Moving from stasis to developmental adaptation…

This one hour symposium was conducted at the American Psychological Association's National Convention in San Francisco, California on August 20th.  It was co-authored by Dr. Bütz, Linda Chamberlain, Psy.D. and Robert F. Morgan, Ph.D.; and was sponsored by diverse divisions within the American Psychological Association.

  • The Society for General Psychology,

  • The Society for Clinical Psychology,

  • The Society of Consulting Psychology,

  • The Society for the Psychology of Women,

  • The Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity,

  • And, Trauma Psychology.

Our symposium last year, was sponsored by these divisions of the American Psychological Association.

  • The Society for General Psychology,

  • The Developmental Psychology Division,

  • The Society for Clinical Psychology,

  • The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology,

  • The Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology,

  • The Society for Community Research and Action,

  • And, the Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict and Violence.

It is also the precursor to an edited book by the same name, and the authors are in discussions with a publishing house at the present time.
