Crisis Theory in Behavioral Health: Moving from stasis to developmental adaptation… This one hour symposium was conducted at the American Psychological Association's National Convention in San Francisco, California on August 20th. It was co-authored by Dr. Bütz, Linda Chamberlain, Psy.D. and Robert F. Morgan, Ph.D.; and was sponsored by diverse divisions within the American Psychological Association.
Our symposium last year, was sponsored by these divisions of the American Psychological Association.
It is also the precursor to an edited book by the same name, and the authors are in discussions with a publishing house at the present time.
Handouts and PowerPoint... To provide a full sense of the symposium that was given, both handouts and the actual PowerPoint presentation have been supplied. These lay out the premises for the book described above and the model for Transformative Crisis Intervention (TCI). Click on the link that applies.
