SOME BACKGROUND...

Our Approach

We consider it an honor to serve our clientele who, by making use of our services, have entrusted the most intimate and important aspects of their lives to our care.  For this reason, we feel that our services need to be delivered in a fashion that recognizes this trust.  It is our aspiration to deliver services that are simply excellent, and we measure these services through our quality assurance program that seeks feedback from clients and referral sources on a regular basis (see Excellence Measures page).

We began Aspen Practice after many years of service in the behavioral healthcare field, while Mrs. Bütz has served in key roles at Cornerstone Behavioral Health, Wyoming State Hospital and the Rimrock Foundation; Dr. Bütz has served communities in Idaho, Maine, Montana and Wyoming being thoroughly familiar with providing behavioral healthcare services in rural areas.  Dr. Bütz has held the following positions over the course of his career prior to moving back to Montana.

Since arriving in Billings, Montana in October of 2004 Dr. Bütz has demonstrated the same level of commitment to behavioral healthcare through the works of Aspen Practice, P.C.  Currently, he is privileged as a Licensed Psychologist at both Billings Clinics and St. Vincent's Healthcare, in the past have served as the Vice President Board of Directors of STEP, Inc., a Consulting Psychologist at the Indian Health Board of Billings, and as the Legislative Chair and President for Montana Psychological Association.  Previously, he has served on Rocky Mountain Healthcare Network's Ancillary Provider Committee and Outreach Committee.
